Welcome to my corner of the web! My journey in the arts and entertainment industry is fueled by a profound belief in the immeasurable societal value of art. Yet, we often prioritize the art over the artist, sacrificing their well-being for our entertainment. This unsustainable model drives my commitment to cultivating a culture within the arts and entertainment industry that uplifts and supports artists in their employment relationships.

Previously, I was honored to serve as the National Diversity and Inclusion Strategist at Actors’ Equity Association, where I spearheaded all diversity and inclusion initiatives. Over three impactful years, I directed efforts to ensure that Equity's activities were truly inclusive, fostering a sense of belonging for those who are systemically marginalized.

My journey began with a BFA in Acting from the University of Miami and a decade-long career as a theatre actor. My proudest moment came when I won the 2015 Philadelphia Barrymore Award for my role in the original cast of "Little Rock," a powerful docudrama chronicling the integration of Little Rock Central High School.

Determined to effect change beyond the stage, I earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management & Leadership from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. As Gabelli’s Inaugural Fellow for Diversity and Inclusion, I developed groundbreaking inclusion training programs and revitalized student organizations to foster a sense of community and culture sharing among students. Immediately thereafter - and during my tenure at Equity, I completed my studies at Fordham School of Law, earning a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in Litigation and Dispute Resolution with a focus on labor and employment, anti-discrimination, and entertainment law.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. As a Founder of the Harriet Tubman Effect Institute and a Board Member of the Theatre Advocacy Project, I contribute my skills to organizations striving for equitable employment access and practices for all arts workers, and particularly those with socially marginalized identities.
